VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES
UAAF recognizes the pivotal role of which volunteers play in the running of an
organization and supporting our service users. It is with this in mind that we
have volunteering policies in place that make volunteering attractive and ensure
both volunteers and UAAF benefit from the relationship.
We always welcome volunteers to help us in the following areas:
Administration, Advice & Client support, Drop in and Outreach.
Requirements
- Commitment to UAAF’s aims and objectives
- Willingness to learn and share experience with others team members.
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Commitment to equality of opportunity and confidentiality.
- Ability to commitment at least one day a week for a minimum of four months.

A number of volunteers re already currently working with us as volunteers on a
regular basis.
Last year UAAF had many volunteers who supported the organisation in a variety
of roles including, providing advice, supporting our service users, organising
events, and IT & administrative support.
Many of our volunteers have moved to paid employment and othes havegone to further
education and training.
All volunteers receive regular supervision, support and advice on career development
help.
